This second volume of Afterlives focuses on diverse interfaith perspective on Jesus. Moving beyond the explicitly Christian afterlives traced in volume one, this set of essays explores how Jesus has significance in Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Ruism, and Mormonism. There is some attention paid to the secular Jesus in progressive Christianity. The contributors are composed of both scholars and faith practitioners reflecting on Jesus within their own religious context. The essays are academically responsible but expressed in language accessible to nonspecialists.
