Davidson Loehr's life has been one of a mixture of talents and interests. He was musician, a combat photographer in Vietnam, a photography studio owner, a carpenter, a woodworker, and a student. He completed his M.A. in “Methods of studying religion” and Ph.D. in theology. His special interest is in the the philosophy of religion and the philosophy of science. He dissertation was completed at the University of Chicago on Wittgenstein’s language philosophy. He has worked as a staff hospital chaplain and twenty-three years as a Unitarian minister. Davidson participated in three phases of the original Jesus Seminar. He continues as a Westar Fellow and is active in the International Big History Association.
