Dr. Dault earned his PhD in Theology at Vanderbilt University, has book-s under contract with Yale Univ. Press and Fortress Press to go along with two peer-reviewed journal articles and several book chapters. He also has many popular-oriented publications, including magazine and newspaper articles, and is unique in his multi-media expertise. Dr. Dault has been involved in print, radio/tv/film, and podcasting, including as a producer for several local documentaries. Notably, he was an executive producer for the documentary “Selma at 50: Still Marching,” which was nominated for an Emmy at the 2016 Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He currently also hosts two podcasts, The Francis Effect and Things Not Seen, both now distributed nationally through the Public Radio Exchange.
